Description

From my site I have a very bad visibility of Orion (unfortunately) and hence I can image the Alnitak area for less than ten minutes per night (and M42 for about three).

Nevertheless I got a relatively decent result, considering that here we have just five and a half minutes of exposure with a NON modified DSLR from the center of a big city, even if a strong wind made the sky unusually clear.

By the way this is proof that even unmodified DSLR (at least CANON ones) are sensitive enough in the H-alpha region to be used for astrophotography.
